2000년 2월 설립하여 현재까지 문학과 영화, 문화예술 전반에 걸쳐 1,000종의 도서를 출간해왔습니다.

단행본뿐만 아니라 2006년 3월에 창간한 정기간행물 《쿨투라 》는 매호 이슈를 다루는 테마와 리뷰 등 다양한 콘텐츠가 빛나는 대한민국 대표 문화전문지입니다. 단순 보도를 지양하며, 차별화된 콘텐츠와 새로운 시도로 동시대의 요구에 부응하고자 노력하고 있습니다.

특히 설문을 통해 그해 최고의 시, 소설, 영화, 드라마, 음악, 미술 등 콘텐츠를 선정하여 시상 및 출판하는 ‘쿨투라 어워즈’는 K-콘텐츠의 우수성을 세계에 알리는 한류산업의 마중물 역할을 하고 있습니다.

월간 문화전문지 《쿨투라 》와 함께 도서출판 작가, 도서출판 모아드림은 사각지대가 없는 따뜻한 문화세상을 만들어나가겠습니다. 통섭의 미학과 동시대 문화의 흐름을 제시하는 중핵이 되겠습니다.

Jakga Publishing Co.(Jakga) is a publisher that seeks to promote K-Culture and advance the Korean wave to the world. Established in February 2000, it has been publishing around 1,000 books ranging from literature to films, culture, and art. Cultura, the periodical launched in March 2006, deals with a variety of topics and issues in monthly reviews and themes and is recognized as a major culture and art magazine in Korea. Every year at Cultura Awards, Jakga selects and publishes the top poem, novel, film, TV drama, music, and art of the year, and contributes to promoting the K-content around the world.
