Korean culture, which has captivated the hearts of people around the world even amidst the pandemic, is having a significant effect on the country’s economy as well. 
Breaking through this pandemic with their overflowing creativity, Korean artists are standing out in various fields such as films, TV shows, pop music, fashion, art, food, literature and computer games, lighting up the lives of people in the world.
BTS is playing an overwhelming role in promoting Korean culture. Many Koreans will name BTS with no hesitation for the hottest K-pop musician both in and out of the country. The group is the first Korean act to top the US Billboard charts and it is also influencing other fields including fashion, beauty and social campaigns, presenting more opportunities for the Korean wave to spread out to the world.
Cultura’s theme for November is “BTS,” the group captivating the world. This issue runs articles about each member of BTS both in Korean and English,written by critics Im Jin-mo, Kim Do-hun, An Jin Yong, Suh Young-ho, 
Cha Min-joo, Jung Min-jae, and Suh Jung Min-gap. There is also a review about the HYBE Insight (known as the BTS Museum) in Seoul, an article by Fatma Altundag, who is a German A.R.M.Y, and an interview with Janice Park, a US A.R.M.Y, and “The Stars We Met through Poetry – RM” by Jang Jae-sun. I hope this theme will help the readers to better understand BTS and provide small consolation and hope to A.R.M.Y around the world, who are going through tough times due to the pandemic.
